Yes, one only needs to mangle __LINE__ into the variable name (e.g. using 
CAT(_Vc_foreach_bit_helper, __LINE__) instead of _Vc_foreach_bit_helper).
I can take a look next week, but if you want to send me a patch I'll be happy 
to apply it.
