I have a set of benchmarks in the vc-benchmarks Subproject. You can find it on 
code.compeng.
Note that I have only used it with Vc 0.7 - not the 1.0 development branch.

CTest provides timing results from the unit tests. Those give a first 
approximation. Of course I sometimes modify those tests, so you have to know 
that in order to make comparisons between different versions.
