that's interesting. Because I changed the #ifdef around _mm_popcnt to the 
correct one for 0.7.1. I just noticed that I missed two places. But according 
to the error locations the corrected ones were the problem.

Please call "make VERBOSE=1" (on the broken 0.7.1 build) and send me the 
complete output. I need to see the compiler flags.

Also it would be nice if you can test the 0.7 git branch. I might have fixed 
the problem there.
