Hi Matthias, thanks for the kind reply. I have switched off digest mode to make life easier as you suggested. The Vc-0.8 branch indeed compiles flawlessly. In the mean time i have run a few simple tests with success. I am impressed by the library Vc but surprised that i had to search quite a bit before I came across it. It has great potential. i will definitely use it.
