vc on osx

I'm really sorry -- but I don't have a mac, and the author of Vc doesn't have a mac. It's entirely possible that a lot of work needs to be done to compile Vc with the current OSX compiler, but I have no way of checking that!

So, I'd say that if you don't have a lot of experience here, just skip the package. It only gives performance optimizations.
